Cannot uninstall R & R 3.01 [ Edited ]

As above.  I am trying to upgrade my Rescue & Recovery to 4.1 from 3.01.

The uninst prgram cannot find:

C:\WINDOWS\DownloadedInstallations\{7D7928D2-33A2-425F-B393-4F67E0D53EE2}\Rescue and Recovery.msi.

The folder is at that location along with:

\{28170427-F935-424B-926B-C5FE612FA81B}\ and  {CD211BCD-94D9-4FE4-81FB-BDD8AB6ACEF6} whichhave their respective files contained within them.

I have tried various ways of getting around it e.g. removing/renaming the directory(ies) etc, etc to no avail.

I have tried to install 4.1 over it but it won't allow it.  3.01 has to but uninst first.

Can anyone suggest anything?

I don't know if you still care about this but I'll post anyway in case someone else has the same problem.

Hi

I have waited far too long to delve into R-n-R. I see you had a nearly similar problem (of being unable to uninstall it, when you were deluged with error messages, and not allowed to get past the error messages), and found a SOLUTION. You supplied a link.

However, on today's date I went to the link you provided and found that it is now concerned MSFT products. MSFT has changed the content to repair its OFFICE software - not R-n-R.

Could you supply the solution to removing R-n-R old version (say 3.01.+++) in this forum, so others of us can remedy our beloved T60s?
