System Update does not work. It gives the following error message: 

"An error occured while gathering user information."

Lenovo discontinued the System Update. You can only download drivers and applications manually, or via Update Retriever.

That is incorrect.  ThinkVantage System Update 3.14 was released on May 31.

To the OP, did you upgrade Vista to SP3 SP2?  That version is not supported yet by TVSU.

Oh, I use Vista SP2 -- Sorry, I didn't notice that Lenovo changed it.

People, this is NOT a bug. The discussion has made it clear that if one is running Vista SP2, TVSU will not work at the moment. Hence, the error message. From what Mark has said, however, an updated version of TVSU for Vista SP2 is in the works. Be patient!

First Lenovo dont notify customers that TVSU will be terminated... 2 weeks i wondered why TVSU wont work. They they inform that it has been terminated....

Then i uninstall it from over 400 pcs because its it useless....

And now they say its back without warning....

yeah im really happy that Lenovo keeps me busy! Now i have to reinstall TVSU to all pcs.

this is unacceptable!
