Hi,
my Lenovo ThinkVantage Toolbox says Kaspersky is deactivated and reports it as problem permanently. However, Kaspersky is NOT deactivated on my notebook. I have Kaspersky license and obtain automatically daily updates for Kasperky. It's active and runs without problem on my R500.
Please help me to solve the problem, as it is very annoying to get the warning message daily from Lenovo ThinkVantage Toolbox that supposes I have a severe security problem.

Hello,
Are both the latest version of the Lenovo ThinkVantage Toolbox and Kaspersky's security software installed on the ThinkPad?

Windows 7 thinks 2 copies of Kaspersky 2010 are installed. Launch Action Center and click on the "Show me the antivirus programs on this computer" link to confirm.
Lenovo ThinkVantage Toolbox sees both these instances, and reports on the one with the most critical status - in this case, the instance of Kaspersky that is turned off.
Upgrading to Kaspersky 2011 fixes the problem.
