Anyone tested ?
Will it work without problems ?
Firefox 4.0 is ready for prime time so I wish to know is it safe to upgrade becouse I do use my fingerprint reader ![]()
TIA for update on this
Anyone already upgraded to Firefox 4?
45 milion of Firefox 4 users worldwide and still increasing... Wonder what percentage are lenovo customers ? ![]()
Previously I have tested Protector Suite and it worked perfect with my T61. Check it here.
Due to lack of time I haven't tested yet their latest Protector Suite 2011 with support for Firefox 4 & Google Chrome !

no, it doesn't work. The password manager actually causes the error below to appear at start. It also doesn't populate username/password fields.
TypeError: Components.classes[TvtPwmComponent_CID] is undefined

@Randle,
Thanks for update on this topic.
I sincerely hope we will not wait so long as last time for an updated version of add-on from lenovo and this thread will not be that long as the previous one: Firefox 3.6 and future add-on updates of Password Manager
Regards

It completely baffles me why it takes Lenovo so long to update Firefox support for the Password Manager. There's been more than ample time to code and test an update for Firefox 4 using the beta, which has been around for quite some time. Come on Lenovo, we, your customers deserve better.

I've had no problem w/ the fingerprint reader after a Firefox upgrade. I do have the PW Manager problem :-(
Some other extensions also fail including Delicious and Bit.ly
