Persistent Rescue and Recovery Critical update

For quite some time, System Update keeps detecting the need to install

Rescue and Recovery Critical Patch for (KB917422).

It goes through the motions of downloading it and installing and says it succeeds

but it is always in the next list again the next time I get the latest updates.

Anyone know why?

BTW: I don't use R&R... I do cold backups.

Hello kabushaw,

Just a suggestion.

I have had the same issue, but it don´t bother me as I don´t use R&R. Simply click "hide this update" and it will never be shown.
