Re: Power Manager 6.07 issue

As far as I can tell, it seems to always happen. Sorry that I've downgraded to the latest 3.xx version already (and the problem is gone).

Re: Power Manager 6.07 issue

As I described in another thread, 6.07 fails to install on my 2 ThinkPads (T61, E420) using System Update. If done manually, it does install but the laptops will then hang on  re-start. Both ThinkPads exhibit the same issue. Version 3.66 works perfect. Any ideas?

Re: Power Manager 6.07 issue

Ok. I guess the gurus and Lenovo staff are out of ideas on our issues with 6.07. I will stick with 3.66 until 7.0 comes along. On the other hand, it could be my proximity to the beach that's causing all the trouble.:smileywink:

Re: Power Manager 6.07 issue

does anyone lese experience a problem with windows shutdown?

when I hold down my left ALT key (i.e. not select, but hold), it executes windows shutdown.

my global settings are to power off when power button is selected, but it seems that left ALT also invokes this.

turning the global setting off helped.

Re: Power Manager 6.07 issue

I have the disk thrashing issue on a new T430.  W7 64bit pro, latest Power Manager (6.38) and driver.  Every time I resume from hibernate (not standby), massive disk activity basically puts the system 'on-hold' for some minutes.  Have uninstalled both driver and app.  But would like the app back for the battery charge threshold function.  Please fix this Lenovo.

Re: Power Manager 6.07 issue

With the latest version (6.36), I'm not seeing the issue appears. Not sure if it's due to an updated Power Manager or something else though.

Cheers.
