Powermanager Gauge increases Taskbar height in Windows 7 Classic Theme

Hi,

I'm using Windows 7 with the classic theme and a normal sized taskbar (see Attachments).

But when I enable the Powermanager Toolbar the height of the taskbar increases. In Powermanager Options I set "Powermanager Gauge Size" to Small.

Is there any way to fix this Problem?

I can see what you're saying, but I don't think there is any solution for this problem currently.  I will ask the software team to fix it in a future release of power manager.

addition: This problem only occurs in Windows 7. Vista/Server 2008 with classic theme works fine.

Windows 7 SP1, x61s, Password Manager 4.0 4.00 06 Jan 2012, Classic theme.

Is it possible to solve this bug?

I have the same issue on my W530 with the Classic desktop theme.

Sob, Lenovo developers haven't fixed this issue in 11 months.

I hope they will, and while doing it, reducing the size of the battery and charger icon a few pixels, or better, let the user descide the size of the graphical taskbar footprint. Also, a single right mouse click should display the quick selection menu for power schemes, not start the Power Manager application.

there is a new release of the Power Manager the last few days. In the release notes it says it fixes this issue. Have a try.

Strange, Thinkvantage System Update didn't inform me about this update.

Oh well, I downloaded and installed PM 6.36 manually now, but it looks the same. The green battery icon is still too big for the classic taskbar.

Where do I bug-report that the fix failed?

V6.36 readme says:

* (fix) Fixed an issue where the Battery Gauge affects task bar height in Windows 7 Classic Theme
