When I update my BIOS...

Is the previous version stored somewhere on my system (W7/32) as part of the update ... if so, where is that file located and is there a procedure to restore back to that version ?  

T23: 2647-8RU, 1G RAM, Ubuntu 12.04 LTS
A61E: 6418-12U, 4G RAM, W7/Pro 64
X200: 7454-CTO, 4GB RAM, W7/Pro 32

Hello,

 

Go to the "downloads drivers and software page" for the model in question. Now click on the BIOS arrow (to expand the listings) and then click on "learn more" for the bios update method of your choice.  At the bottom of the selected learn more page there should be a listing of previous BIOS versions that can be downloaded. You can use any one of there to revert to a previous bios.
