PrivateDisk Password for the SecureDrive created by older versions of CSS

I made the mistake of uninstalling the old Client Security Solution that had Utimaco Private Disk support.   The old CSS would create a volume called "SecureDrive.vol" that it mounted when windows booted.    Apparently this disk has a password that that was randomely generated.  I assume the old CSS generated the password for this volume and kept it someware.   Since I do have a backup of my drive prior to uninstalling the old CSS, I was hoping if someone knew where this password was stored.   Then maybe I could somehow get it from my backup data.

[ Edited ]

This probably explains what has gone wrong with my system - I can't get into it at all as it doesn't recognise the any password. Is it possible to remove and reinstall this to start again? I have nothing in the disk so this would not be a problem.

A further problem is that the securedrive was signing in with my fingerprint but today it isn't and a password box keeps popping up.

Has anyone any other suggestions?

I have a similar problem. I dont know how my problem started or what caused it, but I can no longer access the securedrive.vol  file.  It used to automatically be there after I signed on  r:\secure

I have some documents in there which I need to use. Please help me access this folder!

I have more or less given up expecting answers on this forum - very disappointing.
