it seemed to have worked..although I did runned some other file in that folder...opps(couldn't resist the curiosity...haven't seen any detrimental effect yet...)

I am going to reinstall the system to make it better organzied and cleaned up.

BTW, my R&R boot-environment is in English, even though I installed the Chinese one...is it supposed to be in English and is one of these file wrong or something? Just wondering.

For the language part. Which version do you download from Lenovo.

the follow URL is full language version, I strongly recommend that.

I tried the full 400+MB one, the pre-boot rescue environment is still in English... If it's supposed to be in English then that's okay...I can live with it...but if there is a setting somewhere that can change the language it would be appreciated.

It's strange. When you install the software, it didn't appear a windos to ask you choose a language, did it?

btw. I was asking for the rescue environment you get from presing F11 or the Think button. The main program in Windows itself in in Chinese. I can live with the rescue environment being in english but if it should not be in english then I would like to know how to correct that.
