I have a couple of SATA drives attached to my ThinkPad X60 with an eSATA Cardbus controller. While Windows XP is running, it happily identies the SATA drives and Rescue & Recovery backs up to them with no issues as "Secondary Disks".
The problem arises doing a restore.
The standalone restore program does not recognize the eSATA Cardbus controller. Even if I interrupt the boot process with F6 and give it the device driver for the eSATA controller, it does not recognize the disks precence on booting up. I suspect that this is due to the fact that the Cardbus driver is also not available or running but have no way of confirming this.
Is there a way to build the recovery CD to include all the drivers in use on the system when the backup was taken?
