R61 system update and Vista business

Hi all,

I've been reading through everything on here..and i'd say, i tried everything suggested.. updated bios, system update, tried the bios utility (cannot put in the model type), spent hours to get it working..

I put in the model in the registry, it works, after reboot..again it shows TP7.. and not 8933B51.

same laptop with XP works fine.., R61e with vista home also works .

how and where do I change the model number ???

any help would be appreciated..kinda very frustrated here..
