I am also getting the signature error for Rapiddrive 1.20. See the thread I started in the x series forum, http://forum.lenovo.com/t5/X-Series-ThinkPad-Lapto
Thanks

Could it be we are the only 2 people in the ThinkPad Universe with this problem?

Version 1.20 is not appearing on System Update yet so I suspect that not many have it installed and those that have downloaded and installed it may not realize that it is failing unless they check the System Events. Also, it's curious that no one has reported that it is running successfully on their systems. Then again maybe your right.

I have 6 systems running RapidBoot 1.20 and I can't reproduce that issue.
I believe it is a real issue, but at this point I have no idea the root cause or how to solve it.

I'll throw some further confusion your way just to make this more difficult.
TVSU V4 installed 2 updaates on May 7th:
Since May 7th the RapidBoot log is being written on every boot and there are no PHCORE events so RapidBoot is working. Why? It would be too easy to just say that the revisions to Power Manager cured the problem, so I'll still leave it in Lenovo's hands. But maybe, as in Occam's Razor, the simplest solution is probably the correct solution.

For anyone having this issue, can you please try uninstalling RapidBoot, rebooting, and then reinstalling RapidBoot from the website:
[EDIT] RapidBoot has been removed from the web until further notice; see: http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/ThinkVantage-Technolog
the software team thinks this issue could happen when RapidBoot is upgraded from some previous version. To confirm it, please try uninstalling the previous version and the install the new version.

Thanks to someotherguy and mixz1. By deinstalling rapidboot, power manager and power driver and then reinstalling then after reboot rapidboot 1.2 no longer fails.
Rapidboot has inproved my startup to login time by about 10 seconds on average. Unfortunately it slows down my after login autostart programs so much that I net out loosing about 20 seconds in total so using it is counterproductive.
Any suggestion for this next issue?

My advice is to uninstall RapidBoot if it causes a net slowdown in boot/login/autostart time like what you are seeing.
I can tell you that I have found the exact same issue on some of my test systems and I have filed a bug with the RapidBoot team about it. But as of today I have no ETA for a fix.

It would seem that this link has been removed by Lenovo. Would it be possible to provide an update to the link when it's re-issued? A search for RapidBoot on the Lenovo website comes up with a bunch of dead-ends.
