Rescue and Recovery problem

Hi,

 

I installed R&R 4.31 on my x200 tablet equiped with windows 7. It is hooked up to a Western Digital MyBook external hardrive.

For some strange reason, even though I can browse through the drive in windows explorer, R&R keep saying it cannot see or find the external drive and the backup aborts. My settings are set to USB external storage device.

 

Anyone has a clue as to what the problem might be?

on my R61 I have to plug the external hardrive into the usb port at least 5 mins. before I start R&R or it will not work you might try that
