System Update V4.03 Searching for Updates Error

I just ran System Update V 4.03 and I am getting an error that states that an error was detected for my package catalog for my system on the System Update Server.

How do I fix this problem?

Re: System Update V4.03 Searching for Updates Error

It looks like waiting and then retrying would probably work according to this post by parkerjnc (Lenovo Staff).

"For those who are getting this error:

1. are you connecting to the internet through a proxy server?

2. does the error go away if you wait 24 hours and try again?

3. does the error go away if you connect through a different direct connection?

We are aware that some proxy servers perform caching of static web content which prevents TVSU from obtaining the most current catalog for your system and results in this error message. In some cases, there is no error message; however, the latest content available to TVSU is not displayed. In general, there will be some expiration time set by the cache and the new catalog will be obtained properly on a later run of TVSU. We are investigating a change to TVSU that would avoid this situation entirely and will release an update as soon as possible."
