Hi,
I don't know where to post this but I have a problem with Lenovo System update on those machine.
It doesn't find all drivers and softwares from Lenovo when I start it.
This forces me to install most of the drivers and softwares manually.
This doesn't depend on the language because I have the problem in US or French.
Can someone do something about it at Lenovo please ?
Thanks
PS: I don't have the problem with T410s model 29249FG. They continue to update correctly.

This is definitely a problem with the catalog for the 4174 machine type. It is related to the fact that the 4174 can either be a T420s or a T420si. We have escalated the issue to the content team who will be working to resolve it. Sorry for the inconvenience.
@Tof06: If you are deploying 40 of these units, I would recommend you take a look at using Update Retriever. This utility will let you specify the machine type to search for so you can enter 4175 instead of 4174 and see all of the available updates. Update Retriever can download the updates you select to a local repository (just a local folder structure) which you can host on a network share and either configure TVSU to pull from that repository or use Thin Installer and copy the content locally to each machine and install all applicable updates. More details in the System Update deployment guide here: http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/detail.page?Legacy
(PM me if you are interested and have further questions)

Hm .... is there allready a Reaction from the Escalation ... such "typing" Error seem to be very easy to correct , can we as the USER "speed" up that Process ?!
Actually Im annoyed that such Problem arent found in a Quality Stage, looks like no one from Lenovo have ever tested that with a given 4174-PEG Notebook .....
