on a ThinkPad T520i (4239-CTO) with win 7 64 system update v 4.01.0015 has reported "no application packages found for your system." since 10/24/2011. Looking at the available updates on the drivers and downloads page for this system this is obviously incorrect.
How can I fix this?
This is the 2nd system in a row I have had issues with the system update utility why does Lenovo have such problems with supporting their products?

Sorry for this inconvenience. Could you do us a favor and check the registry at
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Lenovo\Sys
for the value
Vendor
If it is UNDEFINED, change it to THINK.
Let us know the results either way.

Could you provide the log file (tvsu_log_nnnnnnn.txt) for your last search attempt from the C:\Program Files (x86)\Lenovo\System Update\logs folder? If you can use YouSendIt, Box, DropBox, etc to provide a link to the file, that would be great.

The log shows that your system cannot retrieve the catalog from our server. I have veried the server's copy of the catalog.
Are you by chance running behind a proxy? If so can you make sure you set the Proxy settings within IE? According to the log file TVSU is detecting a direct connection.
