I've had my T500 for 2 years and never had virus problems till last Saturday.
Fortunately I was able to rid my laptop of it by running Spy-bot, McAfee On-Demand Scan, deleting the temporary internet files and resetting my proxy settings.
I did a back up of my data files back in October '09 and just performed another after I cleaned my files of the recent malware.
Problem now is I should have saved the two back-ups to my external hard drive rather than my laptop hd.
Realizing that each back-up took up valuable space, I want to remove these back-ups from my laptop and have it on the external drive.
I tried to do a search of the T500 forums hoping I could find an answer.
1. Can anyone direct me in the right direction plz?
2. How many disc will I need for the RnR download?
