In my previous post, I mentioned that when I did a clean install of Win 7Ultimate full retail version,  on a new Lenovo 160 GB HDD as well as installing all Lenovo and Microsoft updates, the TVSU was not showing any installed updates history.  By the way it still is not.

I ran TVSU this AM and it indicated that no updates were available.  Just to be sure I went to Lenovo's update center and manually checked and it indicated that there was a new Access Connection v 5.42 available.  I checked my currently installed Access Connection which was v 5.41.  I did a manual download and install to successfully ugrade to v 5.42.

Clearly something is wrong with my install of TVSU v 4.3.  I'm at a loss ast\ to how to correct this issue.  I have redownloaded TVSU v 4.3 and saved it to my desktop and  both reinstalled and repaired my TVSU.

Any suggestions,

It can takes several days for newly published files to get added to the TVSU distribution mechanism.... that has been the case as long as IBM, and later Lenovo, have had web based software updating tools.

TVSU is a good tool for keeping a ThinkPad generally up to date, but If you really need to be very first with the latest published drivers etc... you need to manually check the product support page for  the ThinkPad you are using.

As far as TVSU Installation History goes, it is working fine for me on several Win 7 x64 installations on my Core 2 Duo ThinkPads models.

I have the same problem as the original poster. I understand Bill Bolton's note about time delays, but I have been stuck with this for more than 3 weeks.

TVSU version 4.00.0024 on Win7 x64. TVSU worked with this OS when I first installed, but now it doesn't.

When I run System Upodate it displays "No packages applicable to your system were found". All the recommended apps and Lenovo's marketing tab (where they sell accesories) are not seen. My history is blank, even though I have installed several ThinkVantage apps using TVSU.

TVSU is downloading and populating the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Lenovo\System Update\session .. but not much else is working. I uninstalled and re-installed -  with no improvement.

Agree. My W500 is lacking some updates that I want dating back to mid December or earlier.    I noticed that I was not on the latest TVSU and that made me suspicious something was broken. I updated it manually, but no difference - no downloads listed.
