TVT backup & TVT protected services [ Edited ]

both services (in services.msc ) are :

STAUS-started.

STARTUP TYPE-automatic .

I do not use R&R or any lenovo backup systems.

i canot disable nor stop nor manual setting them!

(i did it the normal way:

i'ts the same on XP .)

but when i try to stop or disable the services the error result was the same

I get eror message:

1-what are the services for?

2-How do i disable them?

thanks kalvin the link was made on 2007,

i deleted the files +registry values, but upon reboot all came bacK

so the problem remains....

how to disable those 2 services???????

any posibility to disable it via R&R program?

T hink V antage T echnologie Backup TVT ... is a R & R related i think .

i didnt use it because i  use Acronis Trueimage 2010 ...

But you can try this ....
The 2 services enable each other if you disable them in the Windows Services system. In order to disable them, you have to prevent them from detecting your changes. You can't kill them because they just restart.

1. Use Process Explorer to find the 2 processes. (rrpservice and rrservice)
2. Right click each process and choose "suspend"
3. In Windows services (services.msc) find and double click the corresponding service.
4. Set the service to "Disabled". Do not stop the service.
5. Repeat for the other service.
6. Go back to Process Explorer, and right click each process and choose "kill process".

When you reboot, they should be gone.
