Hi,
I have some trouble with the newest ThinkVantage Toolbox for Win 7 64 bit. I install it, I launch it and right then it just crashes. Anybody else experiencing something similar? Any solution yet or do I have to wait for the next update?

Thanks for the hint, but shouldn't Lenovo take care of that? The other guys problem seems not to be solved either! I mean this tool is really helpful, if one could use it?! Does noone else have a similar problem with the Toolbox and maybe found a solution? Thanks again.

I have the same problem. Just did upgrade today from vista 64 business.

I don't have an answer but have the same problem with vista 64. just updated toolbox and now receive this error when it attempts to start.

The program runs ok until I stop the debugger then windows shuts it down.

I have the exact same crashing problem as original poster with with vista 32 on Thinkpad R500. Anyone have a solution to get this program to run? "pcdr5cuiw32.exe"

I have the same problem after a clean win7-pro-x64 install. I did SU and it installed the toolbox. I also unsinstalled it and reinstalled it again. But always the same thing after launching with the blue button it'll start and freeze up.
Surprisingly, the toolbox I downloaded a week before for Win7-Ultimate-x64 on the same R61 worked flawless...

I have the same problem with Win7 32 bit. I have an SL500 of which I did a clean install to Win7. I used System Update tool 4 after the clean install. When Toolbox is launched the screen briefly appears but then all I can assume is that it is crashing.
