I am currently using an Edge 15" running Windows 7 (64 bit) and Firefox 3.6.12. I have Thinkvantage Password Manager (3.20.0330.00) installed together with a fingerprint reader.
The password Manager is not opening when I log into web sites to capture the login info because Firefox has disabled the add in associated with it due to compatibility problems.
Can anyone suggest a browser that does work properly with the password manager?. If possible I would like to avoid IE and stick with an earlier version of FF - do any of the earlier versions work?
What's been your experience?
Regards

Before posting on here I obviously went through the basics and discovered a number of people were having problems with Firefox 3.6 - and of course I know how to set the preferences.
My question was what browsers (and version No's) others have found work correctly with Version 3 of Thinkvantage Password Manager?

I've noticed same problems with Firefox V3.6. I understand the build of 3.6 is quite different to previous versions and assumed that Password Manager has not yet evolved to support the changes.
I run Windows7 32-bit on a T400 and have found that sticking with Firefox 3.5 (currently 3.5.16) works fine with Password Manager (currently version 3.20.0311.00).
YMMV
Good luck!

Hi,
the officially supported Web browsers are IE and Firefox 3.5 as far as I know. It should support also the 3.6 version, but in the past it required a small change of the configuration file of password manager.
However, also make sure, that you are aware of the fact, that not all of the web pages can be detected with an appropriate password field. Maybe you already saw such situation, where Mozilla was asking for saving the password, although you have just filled out a survey, This is something similar with the passowrd manager, but password manager is much much more extended in this workflow.
Cheers
