My thinkvantage power manager does not work correctly. The power gauge opens but when I click on it to attempt to open the power manager to look at my battery settings, etc, an icon shows up on my taskbar but the actual power manager doesn't fully open.
OS: Windows 7 64-bit
Some help would be greatly appreciated

Check to see if a software update is available. You should also check to see if there is a new power manager driver you can download. If that doesn't change anything, I'd just try uninstalling it and reinstalling it, those are my best guesses.

Thank you for the advice. However i've tried updating and reinstalling multiple times; neither has worked. I've looked around the forums and a couple people seem to be having similar issues with either power manager or access connections.

with the latest 3.62 upgrade there seems to be a problem since the reliability monitor indicates the power manager cisco energywise enabler stops working repeateadly.

I've got the same problem.
X220i, Win 7 64bit, SP 1
Error message "Thinkpad power manager background monitor and tray battery gauge stopped working" on every startup.
Occurs without obvious reason, no installing of new software or updates, startet just the other day.
Please support with update or patch.
