Thinkvantage is broken, location profiles are missing

I am using Thinkvantage Accessconnections 4.42 on a T41 with XP. The software has worked flawlessly for years. Recently, all location profiles that I had created over the years (about 15) have suddenly disappeared. However, the system still connects to the current location profile automatically. When I try to Manage the profiles, I don't see any. Please advise how this can be fixed. Thanks.
