Why isn't Update Manager finding my updates?

I recently had to manually update my Power Manager etc. even though Lenovo should (in theory) be pushing those updates through my update manager.

What gives?  Is this common?

do I understand you correctly, that when you start the TVSU <ThinkVantage System update>, it will not find all the latest update?

Can you tell me one, version and applciation which it could not find.

There's nothing that it is missing now, because they're all installed.

i had to manually update the latest power manager and also the latest nvidia drivers from the Lenovo site.

I have already found some corrupt xml files, what is the reason, why TVSU is not finding those update.
