Re: update retriever catalog file not found

I am also having this issue on a clean install of TVUR.  This is the new version, 4.03.0005.  I am looking for updates on a 4243 (T520), Windows 7, English, but all I get is "catalog file not found".  Does anyone have an update on this?

Re: update retriever catalog file not found

I am able to do a successful search for 4243_Win7_English.  Can you try again and see if you still have the issue?

Re: update retriever catalog file not found

I am military, so all of our operating systems are issued from the Army Golden Master program and it had to do with the permissions they set.  After doing a clean install on a retail version of S2K8, I was able to check in with no issues.

Re: update retriever catalog file not found

This appears to be a networking issue on your end as I can find all of these catalogs successfully.

Do you use a proxy server?  If so, verify the proxy settings in Internet Explorer are set correctly.

Do you set any special networking security settings as part of group policy?  For instance, enabling "System cryptography: Use FIPS 140 compliant cryptographic algorithms, including encryption, hashing and signing algorithms" under Local Computer Policy->Computer Configuration->Windows Settings->Security Settings->Local Policies->Security Options will prevent UR from being able to access the catalogs.

Re: update retriever catalog file not found

for me, the type\model had letters in it, and those need to be CAPITAL e.g. 20am fail, but 20AM works
