L192 Wide stuck on Japanese

I've had the L192 Wide for about three years now and its been stuck on Japanese (or Chinese) for about 2 of those years. I would like to access the display options but sady cannot read Japanese (or Chinese for that matter.) Is there anyway to reset defaults to your monitor. Or does anybody know which buttons I could press to get to the language menu. Thanks

One way to correct this: download and install mControl from here, and then once installed execute the program with this command-line: mcontrol.exe /setcontrol CC 02

This sets the OSD language (CC) to English (02).

Okay, so I have downloaded MControl and run mcontrol.exe from the folder.  I have tried    "mcontrol.exe /setcontrol CC 02" the command just entered without a message of any kind, however it will still on Japanese. I then stumbled across another thread with the same problem and say they had a monitor number (and my L192 is monitor #2, even though it is my main monitor.) so I have also tried "mcontrol.exe /2:setcontrol CC 02" however my screen language still has not changed.

Had the same problem.. Try this:

1. Press the new line button on the right side of the monitor to bring up the menu. It will be in Japanese
2. move the selection to the right three positions, (Image has an arrow with three lines) then ptess the new line button to select. A lower menue will display.
3. Move the selection to the second item to select language and press the new line button to select.
4. Select english!

This should work.  It fixed mine.

I have same issue except my machine is in Chinese language. Another problem is I cannot download or install any program in this LePad. Does anyone have answers to this? Currently, I can only browse internet, very pity me.

L192 is a LCD, you are saying you got a LePad?
