L2251x no built in speaker?

Just bought a lenovo L225x monitor. Have setup most of the stuff and everything is ok except there is no sound when doing a video playback.

 

This monitor support DP playback and DP support audio/video. Unless there is no built in speaker for this monitor. Another thing is, there is an analog sound jack below the monitor screen. I have tried to connect to an external speaker, but still there is no sound when doing a video playback.

 

Need some advice.

Yes the L2251x is just a monitor, no speakers. It is compatible with the ThinkVision Soundbar.
