Thanks harrisb!  Perhaps it will fix my 50 sec warm-boot delay...

Do you have the link for the 1.36 W520 BIOS?

Click on the link. It's really 1.36.

I've installed it and I still have the redock issue with no boot on first dock after running undocked and shutdown.

I installed it and still have the 50 second warm-boot delay...

It is almost a year since the W520 was introduced and there is still the issue when system doesn't boot with USB 3.0 HDD connected. I just flashed this newest BIOS with great expectations that the problem was finally solved, but I'm pretty disappointed now. This issue is there since the day I purchased this laptop and because the same setup worked fine on my old T61 I suppose it's only a BIOS problem. Please, Lenovo, fix this!
