Every time I try to install the latest switchable graphics driver, I get the following error (a BSOD citing npfs.sys as a problem):
(The version of the driver I'm installing is: v8.563.2.1-090401a-079160C.)
I'm using a W500 with Vista Ultimate SP1 32 bit (product no. 4058-CTO)
Thanks for your help. (I've also run memtest86 and scanned with Symantec Endpoint Protection 11 with no errors found, and ran checkdisk.)

I think I've got a rough idea of what the problem is... I think my npfs.sys file has been replaced by something else that I installed. Would anyone be willing to email me as an attachment a copy of their npfs.sys file (It's in C:\windows\system32\drivers)... I'd need one from Vista SP1 32-bit (I think the XP and Vista files are different, or at least they have different MD5's)
