How does one disable or change he options for rapidboot? I can not find anything on it except some support files in the lenovo folder on my computer.

It should be in add and remove programs, if not you may have not installed it if you did a clean installation of windows after getting your laptop.

As it was with ColonelONeill I startup my machine within 14-15 seconds when set to maximum performance in the power manager. When set to maximum battery life it takes some 20-21 seconds which is still very nice.
I am quite happy with this speed if you imagine that my last clean Windows setup is now more than 4 month ago. ![]()

Yes playing around with power manager is crucial ot getthing those fast speeds. I had to do a reformat last night due to some other factors. Now I'm having trouble getting my boot time to 26 seconds on balanced battery plan. Frustrating! haha.

Your just full of tricks! Where's a good spot to get tips like those?

that did the just the trick! one other thing ppl using Ccleaner, it kills the mssearch index everytime it runs so uncheck that for faster boottimes since i think the rebuild of the index starts immediately on startup.
