ESATA and SSD

I have a ESATA drive connected to a mini dock with the w510. I can't seem to see the drive. The 128G SSD drive is in a Coolmax enclosure, everything is new. I've loaded System Update 4 and updated all the drivers. I'm running the latest BIOS.  What am I missing?

Do you connect only esata cable? you need connect a power to you enclosure.
