Mark, is there any way I can get an update on my order?
I've been calling numerous times daily since my order got bumped up another 2 weeks with no notice or explanation at all. The calls are ridiculous themselves with each call taking about 20-30mins of holding but with no explanation or real answer to what the status of my order is. As i mentioned earlier, I ordered on 9/29 with original estimated shipping date of 10/13 but just as clock struck midnight on the 13th, the order was automatically extended to the 27th. I've been really considering just cancelling my order and just ordering a new macbook that was just released. Please get back to me, thanks.

Still nothing from anyone at Lenovo. I love that other people with more recent orders are getting their shipments while we sit here holding empty bags.
Good for them, I'm definitely envious at this point.

I appreciate the effort Mark, I really do, but judging by the complete lack of communication from Lenovo I've got a pretty good feeling that I'm going to have to end up buying from a different company. Nobody besides you has made a single effort to try to solve this issue or to inform me of the situation other then "it's a communication issue". I've heard every excuse possible as far as why mine hasn't shipped, one rep even said that my order had been placed in a Priority queue and would be shipped out before others were, yeah right like I believe that one.
I get the feeling I would have been better off cancelling my order and placing a new one.

I called Lenovo CS today to change my contact number so they would be able to reach me tomorrow for my call-back and received what might be good news for myself and you folks affected by this "issue" I was told I couldn't change my phone number on my order because the order had already been received by the warehouse. Before today I was told our whole problem was the inability to get our orders to the warehouse, so it sounds like that part of the problem has been solved.

Canceling and reordering is an option for me if Mark thinks it's the best thing. I really waited since May for this computer and between the Intel problems then the T500 LED issues, I waited until I could wait no longer. So I really don't want to "go to the back of the line". If that is what we need to do, I would think some sort of consideration is in order, expediated production and shipping perhaps.
But if it breaks loss great.
The last post by Ol3ski just came through. Great news if true.

Is it time to get mad yet???????? I started to complain on Tuesday. This board on Wed. and then Mark got involved. And still I don't know if it is ever going to be produced let a long when. Lenovo has some serous problems if they can't do a simple fix like get an order processed or fix a simple order they screwed up.

I'm starting to get there myself. I know the CS rep said yesterday that the order was received by the warehouse, but I still haven't heard back from Lenovo as far as when it will ship like I was supposed to. I'm down to six days before I'm leaving the country and if they can't assure me that it'll be here by then I'm going to go a different route.

I'm afraid this may be past Mark's magic powers. I bet we are just 4 people who have publicly complained. Are there thousand of these setting there with people just setting at home and taking it laying down?
If I didn't have a new MS Office, and at least 5 other new versions of pc based programs setting and waiting, I would be at the Apple store this weekend and just walk out with a computer. I also have already received the extra power supply and other Lenovo accessories so unless I want to hassel with returns of those I'm stuck.
