Really strange problem, hoping I can find some help here.
w510, 64bit, windows 7pro, Intel Corei7 Q820, 4GB Ram, NVIDIA Quadro FX 880M. When I am in Excel/Word the screen is constantly refreshing. I spent the last few days attacking this from the Software side. Reinstalled Office a few times (both 32bit and 64bit versions). Cannot get the problem to go away.
The operational part of excel/word is fine. But the screen is refreshing at a constant rate. As if I had the refresh key stuck. even if I open a blank doc the problem exists. I am wondering if the issue might be a refresh problem?
The cursor just blinks (with the circle - which is the new hourglass) in Word. While in Excel it just flickers the whole spreadsheet. Non stop.
Any suggestions, ideas would be really appreciated.
