UMTS doesnt work with foreign providers

Hi,

i have a W520 with embedded UMTS card. It works quite well with providers that are part of access connections - but it doesnt work with providers that are not listed e.g T-Mobile SK, T-Mobile UK etc.

I'm using the latest version of F5221gw driver and latest version of Acces connections - but i cannot extend the number of the providers that shows up in Access Connections.

Any ideas?

Great - i guess that's exactly the way to follow.

But: I'm not the high potential user to find out the different values for mcnc, carrierid etc. How can i find out and where is a directory for this? Googling it was not of very much value as i suppose that these terms are used in different context.

P.S: At least i found mcnc at wikipedia - now where is the carrierid?
