Ultrabay Battery in W500

I had an Ultrabay Battery that I used in my old T61, that i used very little.  I replaced the Laptop with a W500 and would like to use the battery in it but it won't "click" in, it doesn't go all the way into the slot for some reason.  Am I missing something?

 

The battery is:

FRU: 41U4890

ASM: 40Y6787

 

The W500 is:

4058CTO
