The listing I posted was just copied from my Lenovo account on the website.  If you ordered from them, you should have access to an account.  It is under My Order or something like that.

That would be a logical place for it, but the details are not provided to me. (maybe due to the Canadian website differences, If I had this list I may have noticed the no modem and spoke to a sale rep before the laptop was shipped.
The Canadian Website "My Order" Shows the following description:

ThinkPad W520 - 1 Yr Depot Topseller Wa

On the box for the W520 I have a printed list but was not up to typing all the details in.
I also received and email which basically shows the listing as displayed on the webpage of the selected options.

I ordered on April 10th. Still hasn't shipped. Still no estimated ship date from Lenovo. 25 buisness days and counting.

I ordered my W520 on tuesday the 10th from ebay. It has been shipped yesterday and will arrive in Germany on Monday.

Couldn't be happier. Got a great deal in the US. Even with import taxes i'm still paying 300€ less than ordering a comparable "University" model from Germany.

Thanks for the reply.

In that case, it looks like there has been a mistake with my order (it was not an online order) and that part is not listed in the confirmed order email/shipping invoice. I guess I will have to talk to them and figure out whether I can add it in the future somehow or whether I need to find some external calibration solution.

I have a question for all of you who have experience with Lenovo.

Does the laptop delivery require a signature?

There's a chance I'll be out of state depending on when my laptop (W520) arrives.

I was thinking I'd just have a friend/neighbor grab it from my front door after they get home from work. 

Would this scenario work out? Or will someone need to be *home* for delivery?
