Really?  I ordered a T420 a few weeks ago and I could track it all the way from China.  One of the first lines in the UPS tracking website said/says:

The T420 I ordered went straight from China to Canada (according to the UPS tracking). The W520 has gone China-->Japan-->Alaska-->Kentucky, where it's been sitting for 24 hours now. So close yet so far!

I am seeing some great shipping times

My experience went well. Especially over a weekend. It shipped on a Friday and I received it on Monday at 10:00am.

Yes I paid the extra $25 for expedited shipping which was well worth it imo.

Can Any one tell me what is going on with my package ?    I live in Glasgow. I called the lenovo customer service and they told me to wait for it. 

UPS....  really disappointed me...... they did not even call me.....

Try calling UPS?  They were extremely helpful with my Lenovo delievery in Canada.

So I ordered the W520 on October 19, 2011 from Lenovo Canada. I am in canada and my shipping/billing address is the same filed with the credit card company. The intial estimated shipping date was 27 October, 2011, and now it has changed to 1 November, 2011. Is this normal ? How long do we have to wait before it actually ships ?

You might want to call Lenovo and see if there's any shortage on certain parts.
