@skriefal that's unfair! I ordered mine on 8/4/2012. And it's still on "In Production" Status. shipping estimate has changed 6 times already. The chat agents seem to have no idea as to the current status of my laptop :-(

UPDATE: my order has just left Shanghai. Apparently, Indian reps are clueless. I chat with one earlier today and he told me that my order has not made it out of the warehouse and since tomorrow is saturday, it won't get shipped till next week! It fascinates me how bad Lenovo customer service system is. Nokia outsource their customer service too and the rep handled my semi-complicated case which involved both Nokia and AT&T within minutes!

Hey!  My W530 left the factory with yours!  Mine has a (UPS estimated) delivery date of Wednesday, August 22.  Yours may get there sooner because it comes over the Pacific Ocean and enters the USA through Alaska.  Yours should go to California from there (I think.)

I think mine will take an extra day to cross the US...

@First_ThinkPad -- Looks like you ordered 16GB RAM with your W530. I didn't -- I can get RAM elsewhere (much cheaper) and install it myself. Perhaps that's holding up your order.  It does seem a bit odd that RAM supply would be the issue -- but that's the only difference I see between your build and mine.

Hello unlucky lenovo customers,

I would be honor to announce that I became on of you. I'm a college student and desperately  require a new laptop to run autocad and etc.. I heard about lenovo laptops and according to (http://www.laptopmag.com/mobile-life/lenovo-brand-rating-2012.aspx) its ranked #2 in overall best brands of laptop in 2011, so I decided to go with lenovo and buy the w530....well I order it with backpack, and headphone, but notice in my confrontation email; its stated that I order the laptop and a "USB Hard Drive". I didn't try to cancel my order or anything because that would waste more time with my order. than Lenovo decided to play the waiting game....from 8/2 till now been waiting and hoping the Lies of delay would come true. I called and chat with reps but they don't know anything. I checked the status site and itsdown and I can't check it. Every three days I get a new days to follow.  I think I'm going to cancel my order after 5 days if nothing happened.

Number Estimated Shipping Date has changed: every three days

Date Shipped: (I guess the Email Shipment Notification will contain this info): unknown to mankind

Click on "Track by reference" on the left, then enter the Lenovo order number (10 digits long) 

in the "Shipment reference" field.

If your W530 has shipped, you can find the status and tracking number this way.
