Hi,
I recently retrieved my W500 4063-AE5 after its hard drive was replaced...
I updated the drivers, all the drivers, except one which did not want to be installed : Switchable Graphics...
I already had this problem, I solve it (on my previous hard drive) by enabling High performance graphics (ATI 3650) with the Power Manager while installing the new drivers.
But here, I cannot enable the High Performance, it does not work.
Any help ? It's enabled on the BIOS, and the Power Manager version installed is the latest (on Vista SP2 32 bits).
Switchable Graphics are a great idea, but it provokes a lot of problems...

Could I hope that installing a previous version of the switchable graphics will fix my problem ?

It's a bit frustrating to pay such a high price for a computer with only integrated graphics...

Try going into the BIOS and enable discreet graphics. I disabled the "let OS decide which graphics to use feature". So far stability has been great.

Thanks for the answer...
I've tried and the ATI card works after installing (again) the drivers.
I get back to the previous BIOS settings to be able to switch graphics but now the power manager is not working anymore !
I think I'll reinstall every Lenovo utilities... Except Fingerprint which could not be uninstalled.

After reinstalling every Lenovo softwares, it finally works, except that I cannot use the fingerprint software anymore, it freezes my computer just after Windows logon screen.
Better than nothing, huh ?
