Hello,
it seems your TP suffers from so called cpu or coil whine.
Please try to disable CPU powermanagement in BIOS.
1. Power system on.
2. At ThinkPad splash screen, press the F1 button to enter system BIOS.
3. Once in BIOS: Config --> Power --> CPU Power Management --> Disable
4. Once finished, hit F10 and select "Yes" to save your configuration

This may be have an affect to total run time while run on battery.
