Got a new W500 wuth WUXGA about a month ago and have never been happy with the screen brightness, its much dimmer than my old x61s or T61p. Now today I just realised that the entire left side about 2 inches from the edge is darker than the rest. On a white background it is obvious and becomes even more obvious as you lower the brightness.
Are there any tools I can use to measure/test this?
Has anyone else noticed this?
Am I entitled to return this for a replacement screen under warranty?
Any help is much appreciated!
