I just got a 128GB SSD. Also, because I never use my DVD drive, I bought an Ultrabay SATA HDD adapter so I could continue to use the factory hard drive for mass storage. (128 is a *bit* smaller than I can comfortably use.)
Is it possible to set up Active Protection to only stop the second hard drive and ignore the SSD upon shocks? Or am I faced with the choice of unnecessary interruptions on my SSD if I want to keep protection for the secondary drive? Could leaving Active Protection on damage the SSD?
Thanks in advance.

Just install APS. The SSD should ignore the suspend command issued by APS and hence not be affected by APS in anyway.
