Hello. I have an Ethernet issue when docking my W510 in the Mini Dock Plus Series 3 (433830U) . Connection speed drops form 1 Gbps to only 10 Mbps. This is with the Ethernet cable hooked up to the dock. When not in dock and the Ethernet cable hooked up directly to W510 connection speed is back to 1 Gbps. I tried connecting directly to the Ethernet port on W510 when docked but, unfortunately, it'd disabled when docked ![]()
Any suggestions?

How are you measuring this?

What if you set the switch port to a fixed 1Gbps instead of letting it auto-negotiate?

Hi. I know that the speed drops from the notification cloud of the Access Connections icon on the taskbar(Speed: 10.0 Mbps). I also do an online speed test which confirms it.

Tried it, but if I set manually it to anything else than 10 Mbps it asks me to plug in the Ethernet cable, when it's already plugged in.

Every time I hear of issues like this it ends up being Access Connections. I have never used Access Connections with a ThinkPad.
