I just got my new W520. I made a clean Win7 install and have the problem that it can't connect to my Wifi Network. Anyhow Cable works. My other laptop connects to Wifi without problems. Diagnoses and automatic issue solving just ends with "Call some friends" So probably some of you share the same problem or have a workaround.
Win7 identified the Wlan adapter as: Ultimate N-6300 AGN - reinstalles it - no change
Uninstalled Lonovo Access Software. - no change, reinstalled the driver again - no change
Solved! Go to Solution.

Uh...found the problem. Thanks for the million answers ... unfortunately some dumbass (that's me) forgot that he assigned macfiltering to wireless connections. So problem solved

Been there, done that, kicked some dumba$$ (self) in the a$$. Personal record is about 8 hours before the light bulb came on.
As for the (apparently) sarcastic comment about a million answers, you had about an hour between posts. These guys are good, but seriously.....

no it says 2:40 AM and 3:50 PM - that's about 13 hrs. but anyway - it would have been a waste of time - who would have thought about that? no it was no imputation, more the frustration that noone cared
