Hi all,
In the beginning, I am not sure about the memory placement for optimum performance, so I placed my memory under Slot 0 and Slot 2, I was shocked that the POST delayed a bit longer than usual and the WEI results is 7.5, all my friends laptop or desktop running with 8 GB of memory (4 GB x 2 DIMM) having 7.6, Windows also take longer to startup.
After following this guide by Mark_Lenovo, lead_org, andyP:

By placing memory in Slot 0 and Slot 1 (2 DIMM), POST boot up speed went back to normal, overall performance went up and WEI became 7.6.
Thanks for making this great guide. Kudos to this ![]()
Best Regards
Peter
