Let me know how you get on with the Corsair Vengeance.

So I've had the Vengenance installed and running full tilt for 3 days now...going well. No reboots, BSOD, or anything of the sort. I will say that there seems to be a bit of lag at start up and have been looking into whether I need to do anything special after making such a jump (8gb to 16gb). All in all the system seems to be running and the WEI score sits at 7.6 for ram.

$50? Where did you get that deal?

Thanks. I had it in my head you purchased a 2x8GB kit for $50. I am no longer purchasing 4GB SoDIMMs.

It was $80 last week so we aren't far off. But that was for the ValueSelect SoDIMMs. Still, it might happen in 2012.

I've just ordered 2x8GB Corsair standard soDimms for my W510.
Was going to order 4x8GB but I decided against it just now as my finances weren't playing ball.
However, if it works fine with existing RAM it should add up to 20GB which should be sufficient for my needs just now.
