I think the following link has the information and download you need for the W520.

Thank you for the link. I've follow the direction on updating my drivers and installed the Intel WiDi Widget. When I launch the Intel WiDi Widget and scanned. I was not able to see my TV. I am connected via wi-fi on my W520 i7 2720QM and my TV because I am able to see shared folders on my w520 on my TV. But when I try to scan for the w520 on my TV there's nothing. Anybody has any idea?
Thanks.

You need a WiDi adapter.

Yes, I am aware that an adapter is needed but my new LG 47LM7600 LED TV has the WiDi built-in isn't? According to the spec link below it has it under the "Convergence Features" section.

Intel Wireless Display (Wi-Di) Yes
P.S. What software did you guys install on your w520? According to Intel's website..all I need the is Intel WiDi Widget software which is about 5megs..Is that correct? There's another software that is about 200+megs that I can't install b/c it said it's "un-supported platform". I don't know what I am doing wrong...
Thanks.

Very interesting, I didnt know TVs had it built-in yet. I think your best bet would be to contact LG then, the software is pretty standard on the Intel side but LG may have some special tips for the adapters in their TVs

In Programs and Features find the Intel PROSet/Wireless WiFi Software, click on it. Now on the bar up above click "change". Once the installer loads up click on "modify" and select the My WiFi option. When you are done you should have WiDi support enabled.
EDIT: You will need to have the correct wireless card in order for this to work. If you did not order the system with an Intel wireless card you are out of luck. And you will also need to install the software linked below after enabling My WiFi before you can connect your TV.

Yep. Looks like your tv support WiDi. Good point JDAY, he does need a supported adapter in his laptop.

This is a hand down w520. So how do I know if it has a "correct wireless card" or not?
P.S. I downloaded the software and it will not install.
InstallShield Wizard Aborted..This platform is not compatible with Intel(R) WiDi or the application is in use. Please see log for more details.
Thanks.
