Hey guys, i recently just got my w530 and did a clean install of windows 7 on a crucial m4 256gb ssd and everything works great, but whenever my laptop awakes from sleep mode it encounters the BSOD and it's only when I put my laptop in sleep mode that this happens. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the lenovo drivers or my ssd. Everything is updated with the latest firmware. I need this laptop to be stable as i'm going to be bringing it to university soon so hopefully you guys can help me out, thanks!

Sorry to hear about the issues you're facing after upgrading to the SSD. May I know if you have updated the firmware towards the SSD. There a was case similar to your and what the user did was to update the firmware of the SSD from the manufacturers site and from there it everything went well for the user. I'm not particualrly sure which SSD he was using however in your case it is worth the try.
On another note, you or anyone in this thread facing the same issue PM me you r details. I'd like to discuss this further with the support team. The details i need are :
• Machine Family (e.g. T61)
• Machine Type Model (e.g. 7660-14A)
• Machine Serial Number (e.g. L3-234A)
• Bios version
• RAM (e.g. 2GB DDR3)
• OS (e.g. Win 7 64-bit Ultimate)
• Steps taken prior to a reported issue (for an example software or hardware installed)
• Customers country of residence
• First and Last Name
• Contact Phone Number

Do let me know guys..

Good to see that Lenovo is on top of things. But at the same time, does this mean Lenovo is noticing there's a "trend" with SSD compatibility issue with the W530 + SSD firmware (and maybe with Intel's RST driver as well?)?
And if anyone in this thread facing the same issue, drop the details in this thread as well, so the forum and other users can view it here as a reference.

I would check the Crucial forums as well as the M4 is notorious for having problems like this.
Did you upgrade to the latest SSD firmware?
I've never bothered to read up on the problems as I don't own an M4 and never felt the need.
I'd check online for similar problems with the M4.
