W700 displayport to television problem

Hi,

 

I own Lenovo W700 and I got it with pre-loaded Windows Vista 64bit. I then purchased displayport to hdmi adapter and tried to connect it to a television. It worked fine.

How ever i upgraded Vista to Windows 7 64bit with Lenovo's upgrade CD. Now with Windows 7 the displayport connection to my television doesn't work any more. When I try to switch to tv it says "No projector was detected". What's the problem?
